Taking a shower should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience. However, I’m sure we have all experienced the sudden freezing or burning rush of water that causes you to jump out of the way. Or the little trickle of water that comes
out cause you to take twice as long to wet your hair or rinse
out the shampoo. What about the water that starts collecting at your feet and doesn’t seem to drain leaving you standing in water up to your ankles by the end of your shower? These experiences aren’t so enjoyable and relaxing.
If you are considering replacing your shower you will be able to have more control over the flow of your shower as well as the temperature. When looking to purchase a new shower, be sure that your current plumbing configuration will work with the type of shower you are looking at, otherwise you will have to relocate the plumbing in your house plan.
Some shower plumbing problems such as leaky faucets and clogged drains can be easy do it yourself fixes while other things such as installing a new shower are much bigger tasks. These bigger tasks can be done yourself with the proper instructions but might also be best left to the professionals.
